Consumption, cost and Scope 2 per branch
ENTEK Corporate shows what each branch uses, what it pays for electricity and its Scope 2 emissions. Every figure says where it came from: a bill, details you entered, or an estimate shown as a range with its method and source. Branches with no data are left out of totals, never counted as zero.
- What each branch needs
- One of: monthly consumption in kWh, the monthly bill in SAR, or the electricity account number
- Accuracy shown
- Use estimated from a bill amount: plus or minus 20%. Scope 2: plus or minus 10%. Price per kWh from bills: exact
- Scope 2 factor
- 0.499 kg CO2e per kWh, ECRA, 2023, printed beside the figure
- Missing data
- Branches without data are listed and left out of the report, not counted as zero

Measure a branch for the first time
Facility, operations or sustainability staff who know the site, with permission to edit branches.
Each branch gets its first figure from a short guided scan. You enter what you know: monthly kWh, the monthly bill, or the account number. Everything else is optional and only makes the result more precise.
Start from Portfolio Overview
The overview shows four cards: Total Branches, SAR Opportunity, Needs Attention and Avg Renewable. A notice lists the branches not yet analysed and says each takes about two minutes. Click Scan a Branch, or click a branch marked Not measured yet in the Branch Opportunity Ranking.
Site and account
On the first step, add the Subscription / Meter ID if you have it, plus floor and roof area if known. Then answer what you know about electricity use: Monthly consumption (kWh) or Monthly bill amount (SAR). You can also upload the bill as a PDF, JPG or PNG.
Operations, output and mix
The next steps are optional and can be skipped. Operations asks for operating time slots, hours per day, shifts, staff count, the main equipment that uses power and its age. Output picks a unit so cost can be read per unit of output. Mix asks what share of electricity comes from each source; leave 100% grid if unsure.
Review and run
The last step shows how complete the profile is (Great profile, Good start or Basic scan) and which skipped fields would improve accuracy. It states that the run uses 1,200 AI tokens. Click Run AI scan. The site profile is saved and the AI review for that branch starts.
Review and run
Rule When you enter a bill amount, consumption is estimated by dividing it by the commercial tariff of 0.18 SAR per kWh. It stays labelled as an estimate until the branch's real bills are on file.
Limit today If your company does not hold 1,200 AI tokens, the run button is replaced by a prompt to buy tokens in Settings, AI Tokens.
Tip If you type a meter ID in the first step, the account is registered for that branch at the same time.
Connect electricity accounts and read your bills
Finance and facility users. Saving account numbers needs permission to edit branches.
Bills are the only fully measured source. You register one account number per branch, and Bills and Tariffs shows what you paid, what you used and the real price per kWh.
Open Connect electricity accounts
Reach it from the Bills and Tariffs empty state, from Manage electricity accounts, or from the report. Three cards show Sites, Connected (account added) and Measured (bills received). Connected is not the same as measured.
Enter account numbers and save
Type the account number from each site's bill, digits only. Leave a site blank to skip it. The button counts what you are saving, for example Save 2 accounts. Invalid numbers must be fixed first, and the save is all or nothing.
Enter account numbers and save Read the totals on Bills and Tariffs
Sites included says how many sites have bills on file; totals cover those sites only. Cards show Total billed, Electricity used (kWh), Average price per kWh and Meter charges. Bills in different currencies are shown in separate blocks and never added together.
Check the next bill range and unusual bills
Your next bill shows a likely range based on your own recent months. It is not a forecast. The Electricity accounts table lists Site, Account number, Tariff, Price per kWh and Breaker capacity. Bills worth a second look lists months where the price per kWh is more than 20% away from that account's usual level.
Limit today Bill retrieval for accounts added on the Connect page is still being fixed. Until bills appear, enter the monthly bill or kWh in the branch scan so the branch has a figure.
Rule Account numbers are digits only, exactly as printed on the bill.
Tip The Portfolio Analytics button on the overview now opens Bills and Tariffs.
Read a branch file and run the AI review
Branch, facility and sustainability managers.
Every branch has one file with the same six panels in the same order. A panel without data says what is missing and links to where you add it.
Open the branch file
Click a branch in the ranking. The status at the top says Measured from your bills, Based on details you entered, or Not measured yet, with the period the figures cover.
Read the six panels
This site, What this site costs, How it compares, What we recommend, Emissions, and What's changed. Cost shows total billed, electricity used, average price paid and the period covered. How it compares sets your price per kWh against the typical price in your region. Emissions shows the grid figure and the factor used.
Fill a missing panel
An empty panel says what it needs and shows one button: Connect electricity account, Add site details, Add consumption, or run a review. Meter detail and See all bills open the meters and bills for the site.
Run the AI review
The review page shows a readiness score and whether the site is Ready to run. If not, it lists what is missing, such as annual electricity use, monthly bill, location, main equipment or equipment age. Each run uses 1,200 AI tokens. It may ask a few questions to sharpen the result; answer them and click Update the review.
See the recommendations
When the run ends, Review complete appears. Click See recommendations to return to the branch file, where What we recommend now shows the result.
Limit today The branch file shows the headline lines of a review. A downloadable review report is not available today.
Limit today Savings figures are not promised. A branch shows a savings estimate only after its review, and the estimate is labelled as one.
Rule AI tokens are bought in Settings, AI Tokens.
Produce the Scope 2 report
Sustainability, ESG and reporting teams.
The Emissions Report gives one Scope 2 figure for grid electricity, with the factor, its source and its year printed beside the number. Each branch row says whether its figure came from bills or from details entered by hand.
Open Emissions Report
The subtitle states the 12-month period covered. Three cards show Scope 2 emissions (tCO2e), Electricity used (kWh), and From actual bills, the share of use taken from bills rather than entered by hand.
Open Emissions Report Check how the figure is calculated
The callout reads: grid electricity use multiplied by 0.499 kg CO2e/kWh, source ECRA, 2023. Click See how we calculate for the full method page.
See which branches are left out
If some branches have no data, a notice says how many are not in the report and that they are left out rather than counted as zero. Click Connect electricity accounts to include them.
Read the By site table
Columns are Site, Electricity used, Renewable share, Source of figure and Emissions. Source of figure is From bills, Entered by hand, or No data. A branch with no data shows Not reported, never zero.
Record Scope 1 and Scope 3 in ESG
The report does not estimate Scope 1 (fuel burned on site) or Scope 3 (your supply chain), because they need their own records. Click Enter ESG data to record them in ESG and Sustainability.
Rule Scope 2 counts grid electricity only, after removing the renewable share you entered.
Limit today The 0.499 factor is marked as awaiting review by our team and may be updated.
Limit today The report page has no export button. It is read on screen.
Check the methods and track change
Auditors, sustainability leads and finance reviewers.
How We Calculate lists every estimated figure, how it is worked out and how accurate it is. Savings Delivered compares billed periods once enough bills exist.
Read Figures we estimate
Three rows. Electricity use from your bill: monthly bill divided by the commercial tariff, plus or minus 20%. Emissions from grid electricity: annual grid use without the renewable share, times the grid factor, plus or minus 10%. Price you pay per kWh: bill amount divided by billed kWh, taken directly from your bills.
Check the reference figures
Reference figures and their sources shows each value, who publishes it and when: 0.499 kg CO2e/kWh from ECRA, 2023, and 0.18 SAR/kWh from the Saudi Electricity Company commercial tariff, 2024. A figure still under internal review is marked as such.
Compare billed periods in Savings Delivered
Open it from See savings delivered on Bills and Tariffs. Each row compares a site's latest billed period with the one before: Before, After, Change in use, Change in cost, and whether the site was reviewed. It needs two back-to-back billed periods, and the empty state gives the earliest date results can appear.
Rule Anything estimated is labelled as an estimate and shown as a range, never as a single number.
Tip Savings Delivered shows what happened, not why. Weather, opening hours and changes in use all affect consumption.
Set what each branch may order
Company administrators and procurement leads with branch management access.
Head office decides which products each branch is allowed to order, for example diesel for a factory or LPG for a kitchen. This keeps fuel and supply spend per branch inside policy.
Pick a branch
Open Manage Branches and the product assignment page (title: Assign Products to Branches). Use the search box and the Type, Status and Sort By filters, then select a branch.
Pick a branch Assign products
Click Assign Products. Search, filter by Category, Supplier and Brand, select products, and click Assign Selected Products. Special prices for the branch appear where they apply.
Remove products
Delete one product from its card, or select several and click Delete Selected. A confirmation appears and states that the action cannot be undone.
Rule A branch needs a map location before products can be assigned to it.

Common questions
What do we need to give you for each branch?
One of three things: monthly consumption in kWh, the monthly bill in SAR, or the electricity account number. Site details such as hours, shifts and main equipment are optional and improve accuracy.
Do you collect our electricity bills automatically?
You can register each branch's account number on the Connect page, and bills appear on Bills and Tariffs as they arrive. Retrieval for accounts added there is still being fixed, so for now enter the bill or kWh in the branch scan.
How is Scope 2 calculated?
Annual grid electricity use, minus the renewable share, multiplied by 0.499 kg CO2e per kWh from ECRA, 2023. The figure is shown with an accuracy of plus or minus 10%, and the method is printed beside it.
What about Scope 1 and Scope 3?
They are not estimated here, because they need their own records. You record them in ESG and Sustainability.
What happens to a branch with no data?
It is listed as not measured and left out of totals and the report. It is never counted as zero.
Does anything cost extra?
Reading bills, the branch file, the report and the methods does not use tokens. The AI review uses 1,200 AI tokens per run, and finishing a branch scan starts one. Tokens are bought in Settings, AI Tokens.
Why can't we see this section?
It has to be switched on for your account, and your role must be allowed to see it. If it is not switched on, the page says so and asks you to contact your account manager or our support team.
